While the core functionality and performance remain consistent, Aspect Pressure Vessel reflects Octave's transition into an independent spin-off brand, complete with refreshed naming, design and positioning. This change allows Octave to focus on delivering a more unified product experience and future-ready innovation, without altering the reliability you expect from the original PV Elite.

Aspect Pressure Vessel performs comprehensive analysis for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, including internal and external pressure calculations, wind and seismic load evaluations, nozzle and support analysis and fitness-for-service assessments. It also handles settlement considerations, thermal effects and combined load cases to ensure structural integrity and compliance with global design standards.

When evaluating existing vessels, you can select different versions of the ASME design code and the corresponding ASME material databases. Switching between code versions is straightforward through the design code selector. Materials must be reselected to align with the chosen code.

The program is internally certified by meeting thorough release criteria before the product is released. Quality Assurance procedures are aligned with ISO 9001:2015.

The Quality Assurance Manual is included within Aspect Pressure Vessel and accessible through the help tab. It documents extensive, testing with peer-reviewed and, published benchmarks validating Aspect Pressure Vessel calculations.

Aspect Pressure Vessel has a bi-directional interface with Forte 3DWorx. Forte 3DWorx Equipment can both read and write a native Aspect Pressure Vessel file. Piping loads from Aspect Pipe Stress can also be imported, so they are included in the analysis for further asset refinements.
