Regional Press Release: Europe
The Saarland State Police selected Octave’s OnCall public safety solutions to modernize its command-and-control operations, supporting law enforcement services across the federal state of Saarland, Germany.
Responsible for protecting approximately one million residents, the Saarland State Police operates a central command-and-control center and multiple police stations staffed by 2,800 police officers, handling more than 175,000 calls annually.
Anchored by Octave OnCall Dispatch, the system will provide a scalable, future-ready platform for dispatch and incident management. Octave’s integrated geospatial services and mobile capabilities will improve situational awareness for both dispatchers and field units, supporting faster and more informed operational decisions.
A flexible solution, OnCall Dispatch will enable Saarland State Police to configure custom dispatch processes as well as integrate with other critical systems, including records management, hazard notification platforms and interfaces to other public safety organizations.
“This project gives us a platform we can rely on every day, in both routine operations and complex situations,” said Saarland State Police Superintendent Christian Keller. “It strengthens coordination between our control center and officers in the field and positions us well for the years ahead.”
“Our focus is on helping agencies simplify complexity and operate with greater clarity,” said Maximilian Weber, Senior Vice President in Europe for Octave. “For Saarland State Police, that means a solution that supports informed decisions and effective collaboration.”
