HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA - Octave Intelligence plc (Nasdaq: OCTV), a global leader in software for the world’s mission-critical facilities and infrastructure, today announced that Caitlyn Zecha, IT Manager of Quality Management Systems for Octave’s Customer Corning, Inc., has been named a recipient of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 2026 Women in the Supply Chain Award in the Trailblazer category. The award honors female executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women at all levels of a company’s supply chain network.
Caitlyn has been recognized as a Trailblazer for helping Corning digitize and modernize for today’s world and the changing requirements of customers and the supply chain. She has been dedicated to helping the company deliver quality products, better and faster, while honoring the people who enable it all. Through programs, such as the Octave Community of Practice, she has committed herself to fostering a culture of quality at Corning and a community of QMS (Quality Management System) users who are able to optimize the more than 120 modules that enable them to address automated quality at every instance.
“I’m honored to be named a ‘Woman of the Supply Chain,’ and recognized for my commitment to supporting the next generation of quality leaders,” said Caitlyn Zecha. “Enterprise-wide digital quality management is an integral part of our strategy to deliver high-quality products that are safe, defect-free and maintain our highest standards at Corning and I’m committed to continuing to leverage innovative solutions that grow our culture of quality and the community of QMS users who can address automated quality at every instance.”
This award, which honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network, is presented by Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the global cold food supply chain and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain.
“We’re thrilled that Caitlyn has been recognized for her achievements at Corning as a Trailblazer and Woman of the Supply Chain,” said David Isaacson, Executive Director, Portfolio Marketing at Octave. “ We’ve always known that Caitlyn is truly a trailblazer, visionary and fearless businesswoman committed to ensuring a quality supply chain at every step and it’s good to see this industry validation as well.”
“This award isn’t just a way to honor females in supply chain. It’s a representation of progress, it’s a symbol of growth and it’s a way to celebrate achievements of all women in the supply chain who continue to pave the way for the next generation,” says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive and co-founder of the Women in Supply Chain Forum™.
