Mattias serves as Octave’s Chief Executive Officer where he oversees the execution of Octave’s strategy and vision. Mattias previously served as president of Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (now a part of Octave) from 2017 until 2025, where he oversaw global strategy, product development, and operations across industrial software and digital engineering solutions. Prior to that, he held other senior leadership positions at Hexagon AB, including Chief Strategy Officer and Head of M&A. Mattias has also served as Director of Intergraph since 2022. In addition to his role at Octave, Mattias has served on the board of Sinch AB since 2024, a publicly traded cloud communications company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics and a degree in Computer Sciences from Linköping University, Sweden.
