Octave OnSite Production

Octave OnSite Production is the updated, rebranded evolution of Intergraph Smart Production powered by NESTIX. While the core functionality and performance remain consistent, OnSite Production reflects Octave's transition into an independent spin-off brand, complete with refreshed naming, design and positioning. This change allows Octave to focus on delivering a more unified product experience and future-ready innovation, without altering the reliability you expect from the original Intergraph Smart Production.

It's a fabrication management solution built on Industry 4.0 principles. It controls the complete production process, from digital design through work preparation, part nesting, NC code generation, shop floor execution and delivery. The system takes a bottom-up approach; real-time visibility into production status, load balancing for material and resources and just-in-time scheduling through assembly and sub-assembly stages.

There are several specialized configurations. OnSite Production Enterprise is for yards and fabricators managing plate, profile, pipe and panel welding workshops. OnSite Production Pipe is for pipe fabricators focused on material and schedule optimization. OnSite Production SSC covers the full steel service center process from quotation through invoicing. OnSite Production MES (Manufacturing Execution System) manages working queues across multiple cutting machines.

Yes. It captures real-time feedback from shop floor machines and work stations so you can see progress at any point. There's also a mobile barcode tool that lets shop floor workers pull up work information and report production activities on the spot. Production status is visualized against plan using data from the planning assembly hierarchy.
