A Few Words from the Editor: "Fusion line added to Octave’s
duplicator line-up."
Octave is pleased to add the Fusion CD or DVD duplication system to its
robust product offerings. This duplicator uses advanced robotics to deliver
duplication power that is unparalleled in its price class.
The FUSION
is ideal for CD or DVD production in a small-to-medium sized operation,
for tasks ranging from unattended CD/DVD duplication to “one-off”
custom CD/DVD publishing Stand Alone. This system handles all aspects
of disc production, from writing, verifying, to in-line printing.
Advanced robotics and stepping motors are used to ensure a quite and smooth
operation. The duplicator is also easy to use. The system can handle 125
or 550 disc offering hands free duplication.
All Fusion
duplicators (CD or DVD, 2 or 4 drive) easily integrate Thermal or Ink
Jet CD/DVD printers. This system can use the Rimage Thermal Printer, the
Copy Pro Thermal, Signature IV Ink, or the Signature Pro Ink Jet printer.
The Fusion is either a CD or a dual DVD/CD Duplicator. 2 or 4 drives are

uses for a duplicator"
The president of the Octave challenged me to come up with 101 uses for
a Copy Master. In December I published the first 10. Here is the next
10.
11. CDs or
DVDs can be used to send large pictures/files to others
12. Small Indy bands can carry demo CDs to hand out
13. CDs or DVD are used to maintain GAAP for Public Accountants
14. Receipts and other documents can be scanned and saved on to CD or
DVD. Imagine all the space saved.
15. Enthusiast film makers can create home movies on CD or DVD
16. Businesses can store tax records, sales records, and other information
on to a CD or DVD.
17. Artist can create a high-quality portfolio to be stored on to CD or
DVD. The cost savings will be huge.
18. Get your resume noticed! Send it in on CD or DVD with a video of yourself.
19. Animators can send in demo reels on CD or DVD to potential clients.
This allows larger higher quality files to be displayed than downloads
over the internet.
20. Special effects houses can send out demo CDs or DVD to prospective
clients.
