A Few Words from the Editor: "Closing your disc"

When creating a compilation audio disc the last step that needs to be done is to close the disc. If the disc is not closed it will not play in CD- Players.

To close a disc on the Copy Master follow these steps.

10.4 Close Session

Selecting the Close Session will close the disc and you will not be able to write any more data to it. This will allow your disc to be read on a normal player.

10-04. Edit Track
Close Session
Press the ENT button to enter the setting. Use the ESC button to bring you to the next setting.
Close all disc’s
session? Yes
The system will ask for a confirmation to close the disc’s session. After this step, you will not be able to write more data to this CD.
Closing Session
Please wait---
The LCD will display the message of the disc closing the session.

Closing Complete
OK: 3
Fail: 0

When the closing session has completed, the LCD will display the number of discs that are “OK” and “Fail”.

Once the disc is closed no additional data can be written to the disc.

A: No, the Karaoke Copy Master is designed to copy Karaoke Disc or CD+G format. The Karaoke Copy Master is capable of doing compilations.
   
Q: What brand of drives is used in the Copy Master Pro series?
A: The Copy Master Pro uses Plextor drives.
   
Q: What is thermal print technology?
A:

Resin is transferred to the printable side of the disc by heat. Generally thermal printing has low resolution, and single or two tone color. Rimage makes an Everest printer that is capable of printing full-resolution photo quality images on to a disc.
