Octave has been selling goods to Canada from day one. Our staff is knowledgeable of the processes that needs to be taken to ship product up to Canada. We can save you money and get the product into your hands quicker. Did you know it is cheaper to send goods by UPS air than it is by UPS ground? Ironic the quicker better service is the cheaper service.

• Where will the items ship from?
  Orders will be shipped from California or other warehouse locations throughout the US.
• Where will Octave ship to?
  If paying by credit card Octave will ship to the business address of the credit card.
  If paying by wire or cheque we will ship to any address in Canada.
• Why should I buy from an American company?
  We have been in the Duplicator business for years and have the “know how” to advise you in making the correct product purchase for your needs. Further we have a broad product offering so we are sure to find the right products for your needs. Your choices will not be limited with us.
• We will sell you a colour printer instead of a color printer
  That is light humor. It also shows that we understand Canadian needs and culture.
• How do I order from Octave?
  If you tried to order online you should know by now there are still more steps to be completed. We will call you to complete the order and determine the best shipping methods. If we do not call you within 24 hours please call us at 1-800-626-8539.
  Recommendation for Canadian Orders: We advise you to call us directly at 1-800-626-8539 to place an order. Talking to us on the phone will speed up the process and get the product into your hands quicker.
• Cost (Exchange Rate)
  We do not post prices in Canadian dollars due to a fluctuating exchange rate. For the month of December 2003 our Canadian Customers experienced an approximate exchange rate of 1.35 on their credit cards.
  Plan ahead to save money: Planning ahead will save your company money. If you do not need the products for 2-3 weeks pay for the order with a cheque or wire (in US dollars please). You should be able to get a better exchange rate this way.
• Examples of Shipping Cost (Brokerage fees included)
  UPS air and FedEx Air have brokerage fees included in the shipping price.
  Note GST will be paid by customer when goods are received.

  NOTE: Any additional charges you incur receiving the goods are your responsibility.
• FedEX and UPS: If your company has signed an agreement with a custom broker FedEX or UPS will be required to use that broker regardless of the shipping method picked or the instructions given FedEX or UPS.
