By ordering from Octave Systems, Inc., you are agreeing to the terms and conditions contained on this page.

Prices and Specifications subject to change without notice. All orders, prices and shipping rates are subject to price confirmation, verification and correction. Octave is not responsible for typographical errors or omissions relating to pricing, copy, photography, specifications, or application. In the event of a pricing error we will contact you via E-mail with the corrected pricing information. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
If the shipping information is changed by the customer after the package is in transit, Octave Systems Inc. will charge $10 for transaction fees.
If you are paying for your order with a credit card, Octave ships to the credit card billing address. For orders over certain limits shipped to a different address, we will request that you fax us a copy of your credit card along with your signature (except for established customers).
International Ordering

Due to an unusually high incidence of fraudulent orders placed from outside the United States, we regret that we can no longer accept credit cards as payment on international orders. Acceptable forms of payment include certified or cashier's checks and bank wire transfers.

Octave is not responsible for customs duty, VAT charges or receiving brokerage fees. Customer must pay all cost to receive orders.
Shipping

UPS Ground shipping times are not guaranteed. However, for information on approximately how long your package will take to reach you, please see the UPS Time-in-Transit Shipping Map for items shipped UPS Ground from Octave Systems.
Unfortunately we have had a lot of fraudulent transactions from less-than-honest people using post office boxes. Therefore, we do not ship to post office boxes. Please provide a physical address to which we can ship your order. UPS will deliver to your home or place of business even if you do not have home mail delivery.
Free Ground Shipping within mainland USA
On selected products Octave offers Free UPS ground shipping within continental USA contiguous 48 states. Estimated shipping times are here. On some products, at our discretion, Octave will ship FedEx Ground.
APO and FPO
All orders being shipped to an APO or FPO address will be shipped via the United States Postal Service. Postage rate will be calculated separately - after you submit your order, we will calculate shipping charges and contact you to confirm shipment.
International Orders
Upon receipt of your order we will email the weight and dimensions of your
order. You will be required to arrange your own shipping and to have the goods
shipped on your own account.
Returning Products

All returns subject to a 20% restocking fee on non-defective items.
Shipping & C.O.D. fees & credit card charges are non refundable.
Damaged or incomplete returns will be refused.
NO credit or refund authorized after 15 days of receiving goods.
Shipping Under A Return Authorization

Customers may return products purchased from Octave Systems Inc. by calling 408.866.8424 or e-mail techsupport@octave.com to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA). Products returned without an RA number will be returned to you, without prior notification and at your own expense. International customers will be responsible for freight to their country and returning the defective product to Octave Systems. When issued, all RA numbers are valid for a period of 15 days from the date of issue.

It is the customer's responsibility to return products according to the following instructions:
- All products must be in as-new condition and complete, including software, cables, accessories and manuals.
- Software may be returned only if the sealed package containing the diskette(s) or CD(s) is unopened.
- All products must be in the manufacturer's original box and packaging.
- Carefully package products to prevent damage in transit.
- Clearly write the RA number on each carton's shipping label.
- All returns must be shipped freight prepaid, insure the shipment or accept the risk or loss or damage during shipment.
Return Authorization Credits

Octave Systems shall issue you a credit for products returned in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein in the amount of the purchase price plus sales tax, less shipping charges and any credit card surcharges.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Returns

DOA is defined as product that is inoperable upon first installation for
which claims must be made within 3 business days of receipt of goods. Products
that fail after being in use for any period of time beyond 3 days are defined
as defective and must be handled under the manufacturer's warranty program.

to receive a Return Authorization number prior to returning the goods. (See
procedure for RA above.) As soon as the defective product is received, a replacement
unit will be shipped to the customer.
Exchanges (U.S. Only)

From time to time, Octave Systems may, in its sole discretion, exchange defective products or portions of a product. In order to ship the replacement product, you must provide Octave Systems with your valid charge card number (American Express, Visa, MasterCard) with expiration date and billing address information as security for return of the replaced part. You are invoiced for the cost of the replacement product. The invoiced amount is processed against your charge card account only if you fail to return the replaced product within 15 days from the date of invoice. If you return the defective product within 15 days from invoice date, Octave Systems credits the invoice, and your charge card is not charged.
Warranty

Most of the products we carry have manufacturer's warranty (1 year parts & labor).
Please check the specifications page to check the warranty on that product.
Customers must call 408.866.8424 or e-mail techsupport@octave.com to receive a Return Authorization number prior to returning goods. (See procedure for RA above.) The warranty term for a replacement product is the remainder of the limited warranty term applicable to the replaced product.
