The CD-A700 is similar to the CD-A500, but adds balanced XLR input and outputs, a digital output, parallel control, and pitch control for the cassette deck and the CD player.
The addition of the digital output will provide easy integration of the CD- A700 with digital mixers, or facilitate exact custom compilations when used with a DAT, CD-Recorder or MiniDisc Recorder. The analog XLR connections are convenient for integrating into higher end systems, or feeding lines that will have to travel over a longer distance. The pitch control on the CD player is key for performers, allowing minor adjustments in pitch and tempo to be done on either the CD or cassette. With both parallel and IR control available, you have a variety of remote control options when integrating with existing automation systems. Plus, consoles equipped with remotes and tallies can take advantage of the CD- A700's parallel port. The RC-A500 remote is included with the CD-A700. Key Features for the CD-A700:
